Aberdeen Central High School has been hit hard by the flu.  Even members of the girls and boys basketball teams are affected. In fact, the Aberdeen Central Athletic Director Gene Brownell says over half the girls team is out because of flu symptoms.

As a result, the games scheduled against SF Roosevelt have been postponed.  The games were slated to be played on Friday January 16, with the Roosevelt Boys heading to Aberdeen and the Girls hosting the Golden Eagles.  The girls game was originally scheduled to be broadcast on ESPN99.1 thus no game on Sioux Falls' Sports Leader on Friday night.

Instead the contests will be moved to the middle of February.
