Foods That Ruin the Mood
With Valentine’s Day a little over a month away, it’s never too early to start planning that romantic dinner or big date for two.
If you want the evening to have a happy ending, I suggest avoiding the following foods at all cost, or run the risk of your “love fire” being more like a tiny spark instead of a roaring flame!
- Beans: It kinda goes without saying. The gas factor is always high with the “musical fruit.” Plus, beans are notorious for causing bloating which can make you feel uncomfortable in the heat of the moment!
- Red Meat: It might sound safe, but having a big ole’ hunk of beef will more than likely make you feel sluggish and sleepy by the end of the night!
- Black Licorice: If a movie is in your Valentine’s Day plans, go with popcorn or any other candy. Studies have found that black licorice lowers the sex drive in both men and women.
- Gum: Do you chew gum for fresh breath? Stick with mints that night. Chewing gum can cause major gas problems, due to all that air you suck in as you chew.
