Former 'Bachelor' Contestant Has Died

Lex McAllister, who appeared on season 14 of The Bachelor in 2010 died on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from an overdose of prescription pills. According to TMZ, a 911 call was received on February 13, 2016 at about 2:00 PM. She was taken to the hospital in stable condition but her body subsequently started to shut down. She was taken off life support and passed away Tuesday morning. She was 31 years old.

Authorities suspect it is suicide. Sources tell TMZ.com, that Lex struggled with depression and bipolar disorder.

Lex appeared on the season with Jake Pavelka and was eliminated in week one.

McAllister isn't the first person to commit suicide from that season of the show. Gia Allemand died in 2013 after she hanged herself.
