Brad Sweet of California, driving the Kasey Kahne Racing #49, won the 39th Annual AGCO Jackson Nationals Saturday night. The victory paid $25,000, the highest purse of the season at the track.

Sweet is from Grass Valley, California and is a professional racer. He currently competes full time in the World of Outlaws, but formerly was a NASCAR competitor.

He once drove the Great Clips car in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He raced 36 races over three years.

Sweet captured the title at the major sprint car racing event at the Jackson, Minnesota track. He took the lead just past the half way point of Saturday night's main event.

More than 100 drivers competed during the marquee three-day event with Kerry Madsen leading the field to the green flag. Madsen led the first 17 laps, but he struggled in traffic and Sweet was able to capitalize.

Madsen, the Australian driver, came in second. David Gravel, from Watertown, Connecticut, came in third ahead of Oklahoma's Shane Stewart. Eight time World of Outlaws champion Donny Schatz was fifth. See the entire race results.
