In the late 1990's and early 2000's, Creed released three consecutive multi-platinum albums before problems in the band led to their breakup, before reforming in 2005 and 2009. All told, the band sold over 40-million albums worldwide. Singer Scott Stapp was mentioned among the best hard rock singers and his band was at the forefront of leading music out of the post-grunge era.

On Wednesday (November 26th) Stapp posted a rambling video claiming the government has stolen all his money so he is now homeless and penniless. The video above is just a snippet of the nearly 16 minute "Public Statement #1" which you can see in its entirety here on his Facebook page.

He goes on to claim that his wife, who has filed for divorce, is attempting to get him committed (and after watching the video, Stapp definitely needs to talk to a professional. Or maybe several. It's very sad) He also says that the IRS has frozen his accounts and banks are conspiring against him.

In news from TMZ, they report that a Palm Beach county deputy made a wellness check to Stapp and his wife and reported that everything was fine. Judging by the video, things have devolved quickly.
