A three-point dagger just before the final bell sent the Sioux Falls Skyforce to a 112-109 win over the Iowa Energy during the Education Celebration matinee on Tuesday.

A see-saw battle fittingly came down to the final seconds. Getting there meant 28 lead changes and 18 ties between these two fierce rivals. Sioux Falls (18-12) was the first to break through by closing the second quarter on a 20-14 spurt to take a six-point halftime lead.

The lead quickly swelled to 13 before Iowa (16-14) responded to retake the advantage late in the third frame. From there each team took turns out front until Iowa tied the game on a layup by Tyrus Thomas with 8 seconds left.

With thousands of elementary school kids in attendance and a fair amount of chaperones watching, Fuquan Edwin drilled a three from the right wing with .7 seconds left. It was Edwin's second three during the final minute of the game and among the four connections from deep for the game which composed his 12 points. See the happy event in the footage below.

Shawn Jones put together a stellar effort with 29 points and 7 rebounds for the 'Force while Larry Drew was on the verge of a triple-double with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists including the last dime to Edwin for the game-winner. The Energy were led by Damien Wilkins with 26 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists. Kalin Lucas scored 20 and Larry Owens added 15 points.

Sioux Falls will now wind down for the All-Star Break with their next game slated for Friday February 20 against Delaware. Iowa will get on the court a night earlier with a road trip to Bakersfield on Thursday Feburary 19.
