Gas prices are on the rise again! They've jumped nearly 8 cents a gallon over the past two weeks. If they keep this up, they'll approach the high for the year, according to a new Lundberg Survey.

The average price of regular nationwide is now $3.84 a gallon, 13 cents below the peak that was reached this year in April.

Experts say the reason is due mostly, but not entirely, to storm related refinery shutdowns from Hurricane Isaac.

Be thankful you're not pulling up to the pump in Chicago, at the time the survey was conducted gas was $4.30 a gallon! The lowest price recorded was in El Paso, at $3.44.
