Good News the World Will Not End On December 21st

Don't cancel Christmas this year. Tell cousin Eddie to pack up the RV with Katherine and the kids and still come, the government promises the world will not end on December 21st despite whatever those crazy Mayans say!

I guess thousands of people have been writing letters to NASA scientists worried about the doomsday prediction of the Mayan calendar.

Not to worry, the government is on the record now, promising the world will not end on December 21st. They even wrote a blog titled: "Scary Rumors About the World Ending in 2012 Are Just Rumors."

Whew! That's a relief! Good to hear they'll be no giant comet that will strike the earth that day, no massive title wave, no zombie apocalypse or humongous grasshopper that will ravage the planet.

Instead, you'll have just four days left to finish your Christmas shopping! That alone is scary enough!

Oh, by the way, after hearing this news, I'm no longer planning on taking your Christmas gift back. So please don't return mine. Ok?
