‘Happy Days’ Star Al Molinaro Has Died

TMZ.com is reporting that the actor who played Big Al Delvecchio on Happy Days has died.

Al Molinaro passed away at a hospital in Wisconsin on Thursday. Molinaro's son told TMZ that his dad had very bad gall stones, but elected to not have surgery due to his age.

Molinaro appeared on several TV shows including Get Smart, The Odd Couple, and Joanie Loves Chachi.

If his loss wasn't sad enough, to make things worse, he died on the Fonz's birthday. Henry Winkler turned 70 on October 30, 2015.

Molinaro was 96.
