It's Pride in Sioux Falls!

The weekend will be full of things to do. Something for all ages.

The Center for Equality puts together this event. The park festival will be in Terrace Park starting at noon on Saturday, June 18.

On The Center for Equality's website they describe Pride as follows:

Sioux Falls Pride is a vibrant diverse community celebration that honors lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) culture and pride. Sioux Falls Pride has grown from 600 to over 5,000 attendees in the past two years and we only hope that number to grow as we increase the festival offerings. Specifically, more Pride week events, entertainment, food and sales vendors, family-friendly activities, and more ways to show your support of the LGBT community.

The list of the day's activities include, but are not limited to speakers, a drag show, and live musical performances. However, that is only on the main stage. There is also a Kid's Zone with crafts, fire trucks, and zoo animals. And as if that wasn't enough there is drag bingo and Zumba classes in Terrace Tent.

Plus, food vendors and plenty of beverages.

All the events wrap up at 7 that evening. That is a lot of stuff to cram into seven hours!

For those of you that are 21 and over, the festivities start Friday night, the 17th, with drag bingo and a drag show downtown at Club David.

Also, following the day's events on Saturday, there is the official Pride After Party at Club David as well.

SuFu Cruise is offering $1 rides to Terrace Park for those that park at the Canaries Stadium between the hours of 12-2 and 5:30 to 7 on Saturday.
