An 18-year-old Hartford man has been arrested for allegedly running a chop shop.

"There are some storage units out there," according to Jason Gearman of the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office, "and not related to the previous storage incidents. We conducted a search warrant and found that an individual by the name of Mitchell German was running like a chop shop for lack of a better term. He was cutting up Honda's and piecing them together, selling parts and getting different cars."

Gearman says Mitchell German faces a variety of charges.

"He faces three counts of receiving property grand theft and two counts of intentional damage to property in excess of five thousand dollars which would be two counts. That is also a felony."

German says more arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
