Has Your Password Been Stolen?
Are you still using the same password you’ve had since you opened your Google mail account? Are you using your birthday, social security number, admin, the word – password or 12345- – - for a password?
You may want to think twice about that simple-to-remember gateway to all your precious on-line accounts. Word came very early this morning that a cyber-security company found 2 million stolen passwords on a server in the Netherlands. These passwords were stolen from Facebook, Google, Yahoo and Twitter accounts across the globe!
Facebook and Twitter have already reset passwords for affected users. No word from Google or Yahoo yet. One cyber-security expert said that the majority of web users choose absolutely worthless passwords and then use them for multiple accounts.
