We've all been there, you're in a crowded parking lot and the guy in front of you just has to take the extra time to back into his space - turns out he's doing it right.

A new survey from AAA shows that more than 75% of us pull head first into a space, when we should be backing in.

The survey found that alert systems on cars have significant limitations - missing passing motorcycles nearly half the time, other vehicles about 30% of the time, and pedestrians nearly 60% of the time.

That's why experts say you should back into a space.
