If you've been lucky enough to see the Nebraska Cornhusker football team in person over the years, you know getting tickets for a game in Lincoln is nearly impossible to do, especially when you consider each of the last 340 games at Memorial Stadium has been a sellout. That's every game since 1962!

But if single game tickets are virtually non-existent, imagine the astronomical odds of landing season tickets to see the Huskers.

Well, your odds just got a little better, if you act quickly.

Nebraska athletic officials say, as of this week, they have an unprecedented 1,500 season tickets available for purchase, but they won't last long. The seats became available as the result of two main factors: the Huskers giving out 1,000 fewer tickets per game to visiting teams, and season ticket holders who did not renew after the 2014 season.

Nebraska senior associate athletic director David Witty told ESPN.com:

This is a rare occurrence.

It's a unique experience for our fans.

Getting those tickets sold will determine whether consecutive sellout number 341 happens September 5, when Nebraska hosts BYU in the 2015 season opener.

Something tells me they've got nothing to worry about in Lincoln.
