High School ‘Hotness Tournament’ [VIDEO]

It's a 'High School Hotness Tournament'. The boys at Issaquah High School, by Seattle Washington, pit their female classmates against each and vote on which is the sexiest. They then encourage the high school Girls to “look their finest”.

One of the high school girls states: “This kind of thing is sexualizing us girls like we're some sort of trophy”. The high school boys are imitates a contest held by a local sports radio station that ranks models and celebrities. It's a fine example of life imitating art. But do you think this is appropriate for High School age kids?  Or like in the video below, is just Issaquah High School kids having fun?
