You may recall that six men were implicated in a sex sting back in the middle of April. An additional Federal charge was levied against five of them.

According to acting United States Attorney Randolph J. Seiler, said the men have been charged with Attempted Commercial Sex Trafficking after responding to on-line advertisements. Jose Joaquin Oxlaj, of Guatamala; Nathanuel Walter Downs, of Sioux City, Iowa; Benjamin Lyle Iverson, of Sioux Falls; Lance Eugene Hunter, Jr., of Little Rock, Iowa; and Scott Robert Larson, of Sioux Falls, all pled not guilty to the indictment.

The mandatory minimum sentence is 10 years imprisonment, with a maximum sentence of life, a $250,000 fine. Also, these five men were each charged immediately after the sting with one count of solicitation of a minor, a class four felony punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment and/or $20,000 fine.

Iverson also faces two counts of Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, for trying to take an officer’s weapon after his initial arrest. The sixth man who was caught back in April, Andrew Richard Krogman of Doon, IA, was not mentioned in the Monday announcement.
