Homicide at Spring Centre Apartments Downtown Sioux Falls

An investigation was launched regarding a homicide at the Spring Centre apartments in downtown Sioux Falls near the intersection of 13th and Spring on Monday April 3rd.

Sioux Falls resident Alicia Rhae Jumping Eagle, 33, has been identified as the victim.

A person of interest is now being sought Irving Duane Jumping Eagle:

• Native American Male
• 5' foot 9'
• 190 pounds
• shaved head
• 43 years old

According to Leutenant Michael Colwill, it appears the suspect has left the Sioux Falls area:

Irving was last seen at approximately 1:00 p.m. on April 3, 2017 at a gas station near Streeter, North Dakota. Irving asked to use a bathroom to clean up and had noticeable blood on his person. He was last seen driving a black 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix with SD license plates 1V8805.

Police have not revealed the timeline of the homicide, but were on the scene investigating on Monday April 3rd.
