Back in 1996, Jim & Lonnie Entenman from J&L Harley Davidson created Hot Harley Nights as an event for motorcycle enthusiasts to ride for charity. They chose Make A Wish of South Dakota. That first year, about 250 people participated in the casino run, the party was held in the parking lot behind what is now Luciano's North at 5th & Phillips in downtown Sioux Falls, and $3200 was raised for the charity.

Fast forward to today, where the event now encompasses three days (this year's event is July 12-14, 2013) People come from across North America to participate in Hot Harley Nights and we've raised over $1.7 million to grant wishes to sick kids across the state.

On Friday July 12, we'll have a bike show in the parking lot at J&L Harley Davidson on 60th Street North in Sioux Falls, with live and silent auctions (including a week long trip for two to the Buffalo Chip Campground in Sturgis during the Bike Rally that includes camping all week and admission to all the concerts!) We'll have food and beverage vendors and live music from ORYX.

Saturday July 13 will include scenic rides, demo fleets and more during the morning and afternoon, plus music from the Neo Johnson's at J&L Harley all afternoon. At 6pm, the biggest parade in the state will leave J&L to work it's way through town, ending up in Falls Park West downtown with live music from the Jukebox Zeroes! Plenty of food and beverage vendors will be all over downtown to keep the party rolling.

Sunday will wrap up the festivities with a pancake breakfast at J&L.

We're also raffling off a 2013 Harley Davidson for the charity as well. Stop by J&L Harley or the Make A Wish office now to take advantage of the pre-sale price of five tickets for $100 (individual tickets are also available for $25 each) The winning ticket will be drawn from the main stage downtown Sioux Falls at Hot Harley Nights July 13!

Hot Harley Nights is fun for the entire family and benefits sick kids right here in our state. Whether you ride or not, it's a great time and a great cause.

Due to road construction the parade route has changed for the 2013 Hot Harley Nights parade.

The parade will start at 6pm Saturday (July 13) at J&L Harley Davidson on 60th Street. We will travel down Westport Avenue to West Russell. Due to construction on Kiwanis, the parade route will now take West Avenue to 12th Street. We will travel 12th Street all the way to Phillips Avenue before turning towards Falls Park.
