For some reason, we develop an attachment to our T-shirts that should be reserved for puppies and expired milk in our fridge that we refuse to throw out.

Maybe your T-shirt reminds you of that softball team you played on. Maybe it’s the most comfortable sleep shirt you’ve got. Or maybe you got it for free when the promotional team at a minor league baseball game fired it into the crowd.

Whatever the circumstance, we love to hold onto our shirts. Who knew cotton could be so addicting, even when the shirt starts to show signs that it’s time on this earth could be coming to a close? You know what we’re talking about – holes form, it still smells even after it’s washed or it begins discoloring like your toilet when it hasn’t been cleaned for a month.

So, how long do you keep your T-shirts?
