Here's something to keep in mind as you begin another work week, the ideal amount of time to spend with your boss each week is six hours max! No more, no less!

If you're like most employees, you probably just found yourself saying six hours! Are you kidding me? Truth be told, I imagine most people would prefer spending around 6 minutes and that might be pushing it!

A new survey of more than 30,000 people from Leadership IQ found the average person spends three hours a week or less directly interacting with their boss. But that evidently isn't enough time to spend with the big guy (or gal.) The ideal amount of time is exactly six hours.

People who spend six hours talking, working, and interacting with their supervisor are 29% more inspired, 30% more engaged, 16% more innovative and 15% more motivated than people spending fewer than six hours.

But here's the deal, make sure you spend no more than six hours. Anything over six hours can be bad. That's too much according to the study and supposedly will leave you less motivated. Plus, I'm guessing you also run the risk of being labeled the company kiss-ass too.
