“Humble Bragging” urbandictianary.com defines it like this:

When someone, usually consciously, trys to get away with bragging about themselves by couching it in a phony show of humility.

Such as:    "Your inflatable inner-tube is way cooler than my 80-foot yacht. You get to be so much closer to the water and to nature. I envy you, I really do"

Have you noticed how much “Humble Bragging” you see on facebook. “Today I helped 12 old ladies cross 8 lane interstate Hy-ways in the dark, saved a litter of piglets from being turned into Braunschweiger, and my son was voted “Coolest Fella Just Like His Dad” in the 3rd grade.  I just feel so lucky to be such an outstanding human being”.

Ok, that one wasn't on facebook but these were:

-"I was so sick during my pregnancy.  I only was able to gain 10 pounds!"

-"I am so tired of being asked if I am my children's nanny.  I can't help that I look so young."

-"Whenever I take my child anywhere, strangers always stop us to admire her.  I can't even go grocery shopping in peace!"

-“My husband is just so annoying, he won’t quit telling me how great I am!"

Now personally I don't 'Humble Brag' at all, it get's in the way of my 5K training.  But if you want a real 'Hubble Brag' tutorial, and you're not too busy saving unwed kittens from lives of crime, check out this fine example.  Feel free to "SHARE" on your "Humble Bragger's" facebook page.
