Ever wonder why some people are as angry as a rabid weasel in the morning when they wake up?

Here are three possible reasons why according to a new study.

  • They are not getting enough fruits and vegetables. The study found that people who eat seven servings of produce a day tend to be happier, less anxious, and less likely to be depressed.
  • They might be dehydrated. Being even just a little dehydrated can put even the happiest person on the planet in a foul mood. In general, men should get at least 3.7 liters of water a day, and women 2.7. And in case you're wondering, things like coffee and juice do count. So stay hydrated and keep smiling.
  • The third and final reason why you or someone you know might be so owly, you check Facebook too much. According to the study, if you're constantly hanging out on Facebook and other social media sites, you start to realize it's a ginormous waste of time. Which ultimately makes you feel bad about yourself.

So what can we take away from all this? You need to eat your fruits and veggies with regularity, stay hydrated everyday, and use Facebook and other internet sites in moderation.

Do all that, and in theory you should be as happy as Kim Kardashian at a "selfies" convention.
