Parents often times have some serious problems trying to get kids to eat their breakfast. It's said to be the most important meal of the day, but more times than not, unless it's a big bowl of some sugary, multi-colored cereal, kids have no interest in eating what's put in front of them in the morning.

I will admit when I was growing up, a plate of eggs and toast wasn't always the most appealing to me. And it took me until I was almost a teenager to think that a sausage link was going to make it into my stomach without a fight from my mother.

But had I known what kids from around the world were eating, I might have been a little more open to what my mom was making for breakfast.

Moms and Dads, if you are having a difficult time getting your young ones to eat their breakfast because it looks "icky", show them this video of American kids trying breakfast choices from around the world.
