We used to call them Urban Legends. Somebody knew someone who knew somebody else who met a guy that knew a lady that found a fried rat in a restaurant meal somewhere.

Someone knew somebody that had a cousin who lived next to a lady that had an old classmate that had a brother who saw Bigfoot one time. And no, darn, he didn't get a nice clear picture. But it was close!

And don't even get me started on the hook hanging from the car door handle up on Lovers Lane.

The other day I saw somewhere that...oh my gosh!!...5 weekends in a month only happens once every 823 years, and it happened this month. Wowser!

Not that would be pretty cool if it were true. I mean, hey, it was all over the internet and the internet never lies, does it?

Yeah, it does. You can't believe everything you see on the internet...or Facebook...or Twitter. And that's no Urban Myth.

Time and Date Dot Com keeps track of such things, and they said despite the fact that you got an email, tweet or saw a Facebook post that said this is a once-in-a-823 year phenomena, it isn't. In fact a calendar month that contains 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays happens nearly every year. Check out March 2019.

So when your buddy tells you 'Holy Smoke, did you know we're experiencing something that hasn't happened in 823 years??' well, you decide if you want to burst his/her bubble or not.
