Jelly Belly Beer Beans

My late mom loved Jelly Belly jelly beans- -the buttered popcorn flavored ones in particular. I've always been more of a traditionalist, I love the black ones, the red ones and occasionally an orange one.

President Ronald Reagan always had a jar of Jelly Bellies on his desk in the oval office and during his presidency the company's stock got a major boost.

However I'm uncertain whether my mom or the president would be interested in the latest flavor offerings from Jelly Belly. At the 39th Annual Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco going on this week they rolled out a German Hefeweizen beer flavored jelly bean and one called Chocolate Covered Tabasco! Ewww!
