Minnesota Twins outfielder Josh Willingham is recovering from a left knee surgery back on June 3 to repair a torn meniscus, and it appears recovery is coming along for the Twins slugger.

Willingham could return next week, but will join Triple-A Rochester this weekend. The Twins would like to get back their slugger for next week's series at the Chicago White Sox.

In other Twins notes, outfielder Darin Mastroianni will join the High-A Fort Meyers Miracle, as he recovers from foot surgery in May. General Manager Terry Ryan told ESPN 1500 that Mastroianni will join the Twins in the next few days in Tampa Bay.

Outfielder Wilkin Ramirez will go to Double-A New Britain, as he is returning from injury as well. The Twins hope to get Ramirez back with Willngham and Mastroianni.
