Sioux Falls police say they were contacted by an Iowa Sheriff's Department saying they had a victim with them who claimed to have been robbed and kidnapped in Sioux Falls, taken to Lyons County Iowa and thrown from the vehicle.

Sergeant Adam Peterson says the incident started Saturday morning just after midnight on July 23, 2016 at the Sioux Falls Inn, 1300 West Russell Street. The victim stepped outside of the hotel to smoke a cigarette, a vehicle approached and he was forced inside at gunpoint.  The victim claims to have been robbed of an undisclosed amount of money.  The suspects drove him out of Sioux Falls and pushed him out of the vehicle.
