Lady Gaga is certainly in possession of a shapely rear end, regardless of the flack she's been getting over her recent weight gain. Her derriere is so memorable, in fact, that it inspired the first line of high-end handbags from designer Thierry Mugler.

EW.com reports that Haus of Gaga stylist and design force Nicola Formichetti, who is the creative director at the fashion house, revealed that his frequent collaborator's rump was the muse. He wouldn't explain the who/what/where/how/why Gaga's patoot inspired the collection of bags, which cost anywhere from $900 to $1550 and includes day bags, clutches and totes!

But after peeping the bags, we're thinking the round shapes were inspired by Gaga. Formichetti didn’t even give Gaga a heads up that her rear end was his inspiration. Guess the cat is now out of the bag.

Gaga is a huge fan of Mugler, and walked in his fashion show in 2011. She also snatched up the entire collection, calling herself a "Mugler woman."

She also starred in one of the design house's fashion films a year ago, rocking a grill and three heads.

So this news that she inspired some of the line's wares has to be the utmost compliment for her.
