MITCHELL - A South Dakota law firm has pledged to match up to $5,000 in donations to help build a butterfly garden honoring a 9-year-old Mitchell girl who was killed by a drunk driver last March.

The Daily Republic reports that Thompson Law in Sioux Falls will provide the match for the Iszabella "Bella" Morgan garden if organizers can reach their goal before March 1.

Bella's Butterfly Garden is set to be built in the southeast corner of Northridge Park in Mitchell. It will include a 60-foot-long path that meanders through existing trees, a patio paver area, a bench and signs. Plants known to attract butterflies will line the path in the garden.

The $20,000 project was designed by and is planned to be built by city of Mitchell Parks Department.
