Classic cars, live music, a parade and even a buffalo chip throwing contest.  We call that a good time! June 5, 6, and 7, 2015 is Buffalo Days in Luverne, Minnesota.

Buffalo Days events are held throughout the city. Here's a list:

Friday, June 5, 2015 

6:00 PM - Cruise-in begins on Main Street. All vehicles, including motorcycles, street cars, classic cars, muscle cars and even antique tractors are welcome.

6:00-9:00 PM - United Methodist Church pie and ice cream social in the Courtyard.

6:30 PM - Live band, "The Starfires" on stage until 10:30 PM. Free admission.

Food and beer garden. Fire truck ladder rides sponsored by the Luverne Fire Department.

7:30-10:00 AM - Dad's Belgian Waffle feed at the American Legion

9:00AM-4:00 PM - Arts in the Park at the Luverne City Park.  Featuring over 100 booths with lots of new vendors. A food court will feature local and international cuisine. Free inflatables.

10:00 AM - Buffalo Days Parade on Main Street

12:00 PM - Tae-kwon-do karate club demonstrations at the City Park

12:30 PM - Buffalo chip throwing contest at the City Park

1:00-2:00 PM - Spotlight Dancers at the City Park

6:00 PM - Luverne VFW baseball game

8:00 PM - Midnight - Rock on the River with Everett Smithson Band at Redbird Field. Free admission.  Beer garden sponsored by Luverne Area Chamber.

10:30 AM - Buffalo Days Service of Worship - Historic Palace Theater

1:00-4:00 PM - Tales from the Graves at St. Catherine's Catholic Cemetery. Re-enactors share stories of the life and death of Rock County natives as you view their final resting places.  Homemade pie and ice cream with a free will donation.

While you're in Luverne, you may want to take the family to a drive-in movie. The Verne Drive-in is now open and this weekend they're showing Hot Pursuit, rated PG-13 and Mad Max rated R.
