The month of February has been proclaimed National "Heart Month."

The first, of which, is this Friday - "Wear Red For Women Day."

It's a day in which both men and women are encouraged to wear something red in order to bring attention to heart disease in this country.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in both men and women and is often referred to as "the silent killer."
