Sioux Falls Police are looking for suspects after an attack left a 27-year-old Valley Springs man with two skull fractures and a concussion.

Officer Sam Clemens says the man was with his fiancee at her home in the 600 block of West 12th Street shortly before 11:30pm Wednesday.

Clemens says they heard noises in the front of the house, where items have been stolen recently.

He says the man ran outside to confront whoever was out there and they ran, while the woman stayed behind to call 911.

When she got outside, her fiance' was on the ground near 12th and Duluth, bleeding from two large cuts to his head.

Clemens says the man had two skull fractures and a concussion, and police believe he had been hit with a landscaping brick.

The only description either of them could give was that one of the two might have been a Hispanic or Native American male, wearing a red shirt and white shorts.
