[Update]

Sioux Falls Police are still trying to figure out who was involved in a shooting that took place Friday night, (October 21) that sent a 34 year-old man to the hospital with non-life threatening gun shot wounds.

The incident took place around 8:30 p.m. near the McDonald's at 4100 Block of West 41st Street.

KDLT TV is reporting there was only one victim, but two separate crime scenes.

Authorities blocked off a large area spanning from McDonald's down to the Kings Mart gas station on Friday night as they investigated the crime scene. There were also reports of a heavy police presence at the Red Rock Inn on 41st street.

Police believe there is no danger to the public, but they are asking that anyone in the area at the time of the shooting to please contact the Police Department via the Crime Stoppers number, 367-7007, should they have further information regarding the incident.
