You know how they say no good deed goes unpunished?  Well, here ya go.  A 62-year-old Brittish man, Paul Marshallsea, was swimming on an Austraiian beach when a shark swam close to some children. He went over grabbed the shark and drug it away. Pretty brave right? I'm thinking how about the kids just get out of the water, but whatever. Well someone caught the whole thing on video. You know how these things happen. The video went viral. Here is the sticky part. Turns out the shark man and his wife were on leave from the Pant & Dowlais Boys & Girls Club in Wales for "work-related stress".

When the couple returned home there was a letter from the charity's board of trustees informing the pair that they had been, as they put it in merry old England, "Sacked". Or to quote the board: "Whilst unfit to work you were well enough to travel to Australia. And, according to recent news footage of yourself in Queensland, you allegedly grabbed a shark by the tail and narrowly missed being bitten by quickly jumping out of the way.” Mr. Marshallsea, who had worked for the charity for 10 years, said: "You think being in charge and running a children's charity, they would have patted me on the back and congratulated me. But to sack us both without any sort of discussion first is just disgusting."

So have you ever been busted for playing hooky from work?
