I'll take that lobster to go!

That was what one man had in mind on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 when he visited a local grocery store. Only one problem, he didn't intend to pay for it.

Sioux Falls Police arrested a 51-year-old transient on Tuesday afternoon for allegedly stealing a live lobster from a Sioux Falls Hy-Vee Store.

The lobster and the man were not at large very long however. Police nabbed the seafood snatcher moments later in the parking lot of the store, according to Sioux Falls Police Spokesman Sam Clemens.

The lobster valued at $35.18 was returned to its tank in the store.

The thief was also put into a tank. The kind with bars.
