Margaret Thatcher Has Died.

Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher has died of a stroke at 87.  Margaret Thatcher was the first woman to become British prime minister.  She passed away Monday.   You may remember Meryl Streep got nominate for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in "The Iron Lady".  Thatcher was prime minister from 1979 to 1990.  According to CNN:

Thatcher's funeral will be at St. Paul's Cathedral, with full military honors, followed by a private cremation, the British prime minister's office announced.

I remember as a child thinking how she was bigger than life.  It seemed she was always in the news and if not in the news she was being spoofed like in this youtube from the "Laughter Show" on UK TV.
