Marion Road Work Completed; Tea-Ellis Road to Close

The Sioux Falls Public Works Department says the paving work for mill and overlay projects on Marion Road between Madison Street and 60th Street North have been completed.

The City says the project, part of the ‘Smoother Roads Ahead’ program, improved the surfacing of a major commuter route and extended the life of the roadway.

The Marion Road work was completed ahead of a detour route beginning next Monday for a Minnehaha County bridge replacement project that will force the Tea-Ellis Road to be closed from West Madison Street to State Highway 42.

That project is scheduled to be completed by November 1.
