Media One Funski Tis Weekend [VIDEO]

We have snow, we have ice, we have skis and boards, and all we need is you!

It's Media One Funski time once again!

This year’s event is Friday and Saturday, January 24-25th at Great Bear Ski Valley, the #1 hot spot for winter sports in eastern South Dakota.

Get registered now for a variety of fun winter events like: skiing, snowboarding, team snow tubing, frozen leg kickball, a snow sculpture contest, a rail jam, zipfy sled races and of course, cross country skiing.

Media One Funski is the Sioux Empire's premiere winter sports event and has raised over $700,000 for the Sioux Falls Children's Inn. The Children's Inn is a domestic abuse shelter for women, men and children here in Sioux Falls. The great thing about Funski, 100% of all the money raised goes to benefit the Sioux Falls Children's Inn.

In addition to all the fun winter sports, they'll be award ceremonies after each event and entertainment from Jack, Johnny & Jamison in the Chalet on Friday night at 9:15.

Most skiing and boarding events have Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced categories so everyone is welcome.
