Miami Heat’s Mike Miller on Overtime

Everything is square, the Heat and the Spurs sit tied at three games a piece as we enter a win or go home Game 7 on Thursday.

We wouldn’t be here however, if it wasn’t for a Game 6 for the ages.

South Dakota native Mike Miller added his imprint, just as he did in 2012 to another NBA Finals Game.

Granted this time around, the Heat guard didn’t give us the same kind of stats as he did a year ago, he did give us a memorable moment once again.

Mike Miller joined Jeff Thurn on Overtime to talk about Game 6 and preview Game 7.

In the 4th quarter as the Heat were mounting a comeback, Miller lost his shoe.  But instead of being eliminated from the play, Miller came down and knocked in a three with only one shoe on.

“I knew I was going to take the shot with or without the shoe. Didn’t matter on or off. Had the chance and took it,” responded Miller.

Clearly Miller’s 3-pionter added to the effort in the 4th quarter, but if it wasn’t for Lebron James, there wouldn’t of been a Overtime, nor would be seeing a Game 7.  Miller talked about the impact Lebron has on the floor.

“He demands so much attention defensively. Any time has the ball it gives everyone a chance to make plays. Best on planet.”

So as the Heat try and add another Championship Banner to the rafter in Miami, they must first win Game 7 and Mike Miller also talked about the game plan entering that contest.

“We know exactly what we want to do and it will come down to the small things in the game.”

Hopefully for us in the media, those who are fans and the teams involved, we get the same sort of Game 7 as we did in the epic Game 6 of this years NBA Finals.

Take a listen to the entire interview and enjoy!
