Minnesota Burglar Scared Off by Singing Fish…Yes, You Read That Right

Remember the rage back in the late 90's of 'Big Mouth Billy Bass'?  A fish that hung on the wall, was motion activated, and sang a song? 'Billy' saved a Rochester, Minnesota business from being robbed!

Authorities say someone broke into Hooked on Fishing Bait and Tackle in Rochester. The owners had their Billy Bass (like the one in the video above) hung near the door. When the would-be thief broke in, Billy started singing 'Take Me To The River'. It apparently freaked out the burglar so much, he knocked Billy off the wall and left without taking anything...including the cash which according to the police report, had been left in a 'very visible spot.'

Could this be the end of guard dogs and the re-emergence of Billy Bass? I know my step-dad still has one in the basement. How about you?
