The Baltimore Orioles and Minnesota Twins weren't sure that they would be able to finish their opening day game in Baltimore with two rain delays during the game.

They did however finish the game and it ended with a 3-2 win for the Orioles over the Twins in dramatic fashion.

With two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning, Matt Wieters singled home the winning run for Baltimore.

Ervin Santana got the ball for the Twins on Opening Day and gave the Twins two good innings that included 3 strike outs and no earned runs.

The rain delay would end his day early and it was a platoon effort to get through the other rain delay and the rest of the game.

Zach Britton ended up getting the win for the Orioles and Kevin Jepsen took the loss for the Twins.

The two teams will play game two of their three game series on Wednesday and game three on Thursday.

The Twins will stay on the road and play Kansas City on Friday as they begin a three games series against the Royals.

The Twins will play their first home game of 2016 on Monday April 11th at Target Field.
