Found: Missing 12 Foot Shark in South Dakota [UPDATE]
When the story first broke on Memorial Day weekend about the missing mascot of Pirate’s Cove, a family fun park and golf course in Rapid City, SD, our first thought was, “how in the heck can you hide a 12′ shark?”
Apparently, someone couldn’t hide it.
The extra-large fiberglass beast of the sea has been found, and police say they have identified suspects in the theft.
Police officers found the statue in a field in Box Elder after receiving a tip.
And here’s where the crime is going to bite the perps in the butt…because the great white is valued at $6,000, authorities say grand theft charges are pending in the case. I think you’re going to need a bigger lawyer…
