MIX Entertainment Fix: Swift Justice, Prince-ly Color, Only the Hits
In today's (August 15) MIX Entertainment Fix, Taylor Swift comes out on top in her court case, Prince is honored with his own color and Richard Marx takes his hits to Las Vegas.
According to Hailey Nuthals at PopCrush, Taylor Swift won a whopping $1 in her case against a since-fired DJ she accused of groping her.
Taylor Swift has finally earned legal justice in her lawsuit against former radio DJ David Mueller. She had reportedly filed the countersuit to Mueller’s allegation of defamation on principal, and after seven days on trial, the judge decided to throw out Mueller’s case and the jury ruled that Mueller did in fact sexually assault the singer when he groped her butt during a meet-and-greet after her Denver concert in 2013.
In addition, Hailey reveals that the Pantone Color Institute is honoring the late singer Prince with his own color.
Prince is perhaps the best thing that ever happened to the color purple. Recognizing that, the Pantone Color Institute has officially honored the icon with his own shade of purple, which will be referred to as “Love Symbol #2,” styled after his custom Yamaha piano.
And finally, Richard Marx is taking his hits to Las Vegas.
