So far, we only know some basic info about Disney’s next animated musical, MoanaDwayne Johnson joined the voice cast months ago, and the studio offered a few details during D23, but nothing very substantial, like who exactly is playing the title role of the next Disney princess? A new feature introduces you to Auli’i Cravalho, a young Hawaiian girl who beat out hundreds of hopefuls in Disney’s search for the voice of Moana.

People debuted this incredibly charming featurette that introduces you to Cravalho, the 14 year old native Hawaiian from Oahu who has always wanted to be a Disney princess. You can watch part of her audition process in the video below, and her reaction when she finds out that she’s been cast in the title role is just priceless:

In addition, People debuted this first look at Moana with her co-star, voiced by Johnson, as well as some concept art of the latest Disney princess:

Moana takes place 2,000 years ago and tells the story of a young Hawaiian girl who sets off on an oceanic adventure to fulfill the destiny of her ancestors. We don’t know much else about the film just yet, but we can expect to hear Johnson showcase his musical abilities — and yes, he can sing (and play the ukulele!).

Moana is being directed by Ron Clements and Andrew Musker (The Little Mermaid) and hits theaters on November 23, 2016.
