A skittish female dog named Cora was surrendered by its owner to the Marin Humane Society in Novato, California on Saturday, March 5, 2016. When Cora was taken in for a routine check-up, vets found that she had recently had puppies.

When contacted again, the former owner was evasive and unwilling to admit there were puppies. But after some convincing, they agreed to let the Humane Society take the puppies, who are way too young to be parted from their mother yet.

So on Monday, March 7, 2016, the reunion between the mother dog and her puppies was recorded on video and has over 3 million views. The puppies and their mother are doing well and are in a foster home.
