If you come from a family of three kids, you might want to kick in a little extra cash for a present for your mom this Mother's Day.

According to new research, mothers with three kids stress out more than moms with one or two kids. They're even more stressed out than moms with four or more children.

7000 moms were recently asked to name the most stressful number of kids a person could have. The answer most frequently mentioned was...Three! Exactly three.

The research showed that once you have four kids, you hit a critical mass that somehow makes things less stressful.

When it comes to stress, the majority of moms surveyed said that raising girls is far more stressful than raising boys.

Evidently having a husband is pretty stressful as well. With almost half of the moms saying their husbands cause them more stress than their kids do.

The survey also showed the average mom rates her stress level at an eight-and-a-half out of 10.

Not having enough time to do anything is the single biggest reason causing mom's stress level to hit the roof!

So if you're looking for a Mother's Day gift idea to help relieve her stress level. The experts say you can't go wrong with getting your mom a "Me Day."

You know, a day where you and the family treat her like the queen she really is. You wait on her hand and foot for a day. Do all the cooking, the cleaning, and all the busy work that goes into being a mom. It's the ultimate gift. The gift of "time."

Time for her to relax and get away from it all for a day.

Who knows, she just might appreciate that gift far more than a card, flowers, candy, jewelry or that monogrammed oven mitt you were thinking of getting.
