It could be just hot air. Nonetheless, Police are looking into a potential death threat early Saturday morning in Sioux Falls.

An unruly patron was booted from of Wiley’s Tavern about 1:30 AM. Sioux Falls Police Officer Sam Clemens says the man was none too happy with the two security guards on his way out.

"He was threatening to kill the two security officers. (The suspect) walked across the street to his SUV got something out and they both believed it was a hand gun. He started walking back across the street, stopped and ended up leaving."

The witnesses did not actually see a gun, but had a strong suspicion that the suspect had a weapon of some kind.

The suspect has been identified, but Police haven’t found him yet.
