Just nine games into his NBA career, former South Dakota State guard is experiencing the highs and lows of the pro game.

While his Milwaukee Bucks (2-7) struggle thru a league-high five game losing streak, Wolters is enjoying some individual success, and getting noticed in the process.

The St. Cloud, Minnesota native is up to #3 on this week's NBA Rookie Ladder at NBA.com.

According to the site:

Wolters continues to impress with his steadiness while seeing big minutes. Wolters admits he hasn't been looking to score like he did in college (he averaged 22.3 points his senior season at South Dakota State), but coach Larry Drew is more than happy with the rookie's 4.6 assist-to-turnover ratio (2nd best in NBA).

The all-time leading scorer in South Dakota State history was the 38th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.

The Bucks are back in action Wednesday night when they host Portland.
