The National Farmers Union has endorsed Paula Hawks candidacy for South Dakota's seat in the United States House of Representatives.

“Paula Hawks has demonstrated a commitment to making agriculture her top priority, placing the issues affecting our nation’s and South Dakota’s farm and ranch families at the forefront of Congress’ agenda. Her support for Country-of-Origin Labeling and the Renewable Fuel Standard - two important policies to the well-being of America’s family farmers and ranchers –  are what make NATFARMPAC proud to support her candidacy for Congress," said Roger Johnson, chairman of NATFARMPAC.

"I'm honored to receive the endorsement of the National Farmers Union. With so many issues confronting our agricultural industry, it's critical, now more than ever, we have a strong voice representing South Dakota's number one industry. Agriculture will always be my top priority in the U.S. House. South Dakota shouldn't expect anything less," Hawks said.

Along with the National Farmers Union, the National Education Association and the National Women's Political Caucus have also endorsed Hawks.
