If a new survey from Nickelodeon is correct, your kids have been crabbing about how bored they are for weeks now! This new survey indicated that most kids are bored within 10 days of school getting out. Ten days!

70% of parents polled said they find it hard to keep their kids entertained and 50% admitted they couldn't wait until school started again! If you're nodding your head at any of these statistics, here is one more thing in Sioux Falls to get the kids out of your hair and hearing range. At least for a few hours anyway.

The National Teen Library Lock-In is coming up on Friday, July 28, from 6 to 9 PM at the Ronning Library, located at 3100 East 49th Street in Sioux Falls. This event gives teens in grades 6 through 12 the chance to get involved in life-size games, virtual author visits, an Escape room, food, crafts, and more.

You must sign a parental waiver and pre-register your teen. Check-in starts at 5:30 PM that evening. For more information you can go to Siouxland Libraries, or call the Ronning Branch Library at 605-367-8140.

Go ahead, rent a movie, have a romantic dinner, put your feet up, or nap on the couch for one Friday night! You're welcome mom and dad.
